It is sad day for loco running men in India. The greatest ever leader of thuis category left us on 23-02-2012.
He was a continuous fighter for Working conditions, duty hours and better life of loco running men since 1950.
He participated in 8 strikes of loco running staff. He was instrumental in forming AILRSA and also the founder of IRLRO. He got IRLRO formed in 1995 and got registered at Bangalore.
He was co-signatory of 10 hours duty agreement with The Minister of Labor on 13-08-1973.
He was the Person who started 30 + 16 Hours (Periodical and Head Quarter Rest) fight and continued this till his last breadth.
WE may not get a leader like him ever again.
Loco Running men must learn to unite and fight for justice.
May god rest him in Peace.
